Clayton Kershaw threw the first no-hitter of his career last night against the Rockies, and it was one hell of a dominating performance. Kershaw struck out 15 batters and didn’t walk anybody – a seventh inning throwing error from Hanley Ramirez is the only thing that kept him from a perfect game.
It also marked the first time in Los Angeles Dodgers history that two pitchers have thrown no-hitters in the same season. Josh Beckett threw his first career no-hitter as well back in May.
You can watch the final out of Kershaw’s gem below. To make it even better, Vin Scully is on the call.
