1) What’s Next?
The U.S. played like shit, it potentially lost Altidore for the tournament, and it still has to play Portugal and Germany. Still, the USMNT has got to have no qualms with the position its in. If the U.S. can manage to beat Portugal, it will be through to the next round. I’m still skeptical though. If the U.S. plays like it did against Portugal, it’s hard to see Ronaldo not breaking through at least once. And against Germany, the U.S. will be lucky to avoid a beat down.
