This amazing video of Sir-Mix-A-Lot performing “Baby Got Back” with the help of a full orchestra and plenty of women on stage comes from the Seattle Symphony’s critically acclaimed Sonic Evolution project, which brings together the orchestra and some of Seattle’s most successful musicians.
Bridging hip-hop and symphony seems like it’d be pretty difficult, but this was amazing. Even after all these years, Mix-A-Lot has still got it.
