Everybody knows that Minnesota is a hotbed for hockey, but did you know that some Minny dogs enjoy the sport just as much as their human owners? Well, meet Georges the Golden Retriever.
Georges is a pretty big Minnesota Wild fan. He owns a Mikko Koivu jersey. He watches the games on TV. He gets fired up. He’s awesome.
If this is how excited Georges gets for a regular season game, I’d love to see how he acts when the playoffs get underway this week. Minnesota will face the Colorado Avalanche in the first round, so the Wild are going to need Georges’ full support if they hope to knock off one of the West’s top seeds.
