Thursday night on TNT, the Inside the NBA crew announced the lineup of participants for NBA All-Star Saturday Night, along with the rosters for the BBVA Rising Stars Challenge that takes place the night before. The Rising Stars Challenge mixes rookies and sophomores across the two squads, as opposed to the old format of rookies versus sophomores, which had become stale after many years. Adding some more fun to the mix are the coaches and general managers — Charles Barkley and Grant Hill, Kenny Smith and Chris Webber — who get to draft the teams from a pool of previously selected first and second-year players.
One of those second-year players is Toronto Raptors center Jonas Valanciunas, whose name received a solid butchering at the hands of Sir Charles.
