This is Jets quarterback Geno Smith looking on as Mark Sanchez leaves the game in the fourth quarter with a shoulder injury against the Giants. There’s no denying the semi-evil smirk on his face as if he’s saying “I just became a starting NFL quarterback, let’s go.” Sanchez and Smith have been competing with each other in a lesser-of-two-evils position battle all training camp and it appears as if the momentum has swayed significantly in one direction. Enjoy it while it lasts, Geno.
The full video of Sanchez’s injury and Smith’s reaction can be seen here at NFL.com.
