The saga of Tyler Seguin’s Twitter career was a short and tumultuous one, lets us try and recap the demise of it on which went down on the 4th of July weekend. Tyler Seguin claimed that his Twitter account got hacked on July 6th after a Tweet was posted which didn’t exactly paint his newest place of residence, Texas, in the best of light which you can see below.
Tyler was quick to say that his Twitter account had been hacked, of course.
Twitter hacking has to stop. My apologies
— Tyler Seguin (@tylerseguin92) July 7, 2013
Following that Tweet Tyler got his hand slapped and immediately the Dallas Stars came out to distance themselves from their new star players lack of social media skills.
“In no way, shape or form does the Dallas Stars organization condone or agree with the message that was sent out through Tyler Seguin’s Twitter feed last night. We’ve addressed the issue directly with Tyler and we’ll continue to work on educating our players regarding the importance of their conduct on all forms of social media.”
And the latest chapter of Seguin’s Twitter account is that it no longer exists. Seguin’s last Tweet said he was done with twitter because of all of the hackers.
I’m exhausted.
