Roc Nation Sports has its newest agent, and it’s the founder himself.
Jay-Z has officially been licensed as an NBA and MLB agent, Darren Rovell confirmed Thursday. It’s unknown when the hip-hop mogul can actually NBA represent players, though, as he still has not sold his minority ownership in the Brooklyn Nets yet.
The first NBA player Hova is expected to sign is Oklahoma City Thunder star Kevin Durant, who has reportedly already told his current agent that he plans to switch to Roc Nation.
Though the company is still very new, it already has a few notable names on board, including New York Yankees’ second baseman Robinson Cano, New York Jets quarterback Geno Smith and WNBA star Skylar Diggins.
