The 2013 US Open is being hosted by Merion Golf Club. Merion, which is hosting it’s 5th US Open, is a private golf club located in Haverford Township, Pennsylvania – just outside of Philadelphia.
Overall the club has two 18 hole courses called West Course and East Course. The East Course, where the US Open will take place, is known as one of the best courses in America.
Winners at the first four Merion hosted US Open’s were Olin Dutra (USA – 1934), Ben Hogan (USA – 1950), Lee Trevino (USA – 1971), and David Graham (Australia – 1981).
