During Nebraska’s spring game last month, Jack Hoffman a 7-year-old who was diagnosed with a brain tumor in April 2011, was given the opportunity to play running back for his favorite team. Not only did he get to play, but he rattled off a 69-yard touchdown run. The crowd’s support was as good as it gets.
Since April 2011 Jack has had two surgeries since and is now on a break for two weeks from a 60-week chemotherapy course, according to ESPN.com.
Well, today Jack’s incredible journey continued at the White House. President Obama took some time out of his schedule to visit with the young man and a few photos were taken. Pretty awesome.
