On Tuesday, NFL Network microphones picked up an accidental “on-air” rant unleashed by studio co-host Warren Sapp, who was clearly sick of discussing the New England Patriots. Unfortunately for Sapp, Wednesday’s biggest headline involved the Patriots — in this case, a now former Patriot, Wes Welker — which allowed host Rich Eisen to have a little fun at Sapp’s expense, warning him that there would be a lot of Patriots talk. Sapp has always been a good sport about everything, and played off Eisen’s comment perfectly by tapping his mic and asking “is this thing on?”
