This is something that I thought I would never live to see, but I was wrong. Jack Daniels, the whiskey maker who we at Cosby Sweaters love so much, has releases a clear whiskey called “Unaged Rye Whiskey.” The retail price for a 5th is $50 and it will be available in Tennessee first in December 2012 and other markets following. Apparently the ‘white whiskey’ has “a sweet and fruity smell, plenty of rye bite, and a crisp, dry finish”. We shall see about that come December.
