We have all seen this, some of us too many times. However not many people know that this is actually a photograph taken by Charles O’Rear. The photo is called “Bliss” and it is a pic of a landscape in Napa County, California, just east of Sonoma Valley. The image is now used as the default computer wallpaper for the “Luna” theme in Windows XP. The photograph inspired Windows XP’s US$ 200 million advertising campaign entitled “Yes you can”. There you have it, go drop that knowledge on someone during a boring dinner.
