The Japanese are known for making some weird but cool shit and this latest find is no exception. Tanoshii Osushiyasan which means Fun Sushi Restaurant in Japanese is a candy toolkit for you to make your own candy sushi. What blows my mind is how realistic everything turns out. By mixing the included powders, sugars, and liquids, you create authentic looking rice, salmon roe, and tuna sashimi. After converting the cost in yen to American dollars using today’s exchange rate, the sushi candy product retails for a little over $3. That beats the hell out of what I pay when I go out.
