The Indiana Pacers lost to the New York Knicks on Wednesday night to fall into a 0-2 hole in their playoff series, and it sounds like the team is not at all happy with the officiating in the first two games of the series.

According to a report from Brian Windhorst of ESPN, the Indiana Pacers have submitted 78 plays to the NBA office that they believe were incorrectly called in the first two games of the playoff series against the New York Knicks.

“The Indiana Pacers have submitted 78 plays to the NBA that they felt were called incorrectly against them during Games 1 and 2 against the New York Knicks, a league source told ESPN,” Windhorst wrote for ESPN.

“Pacers coach Rick Carlisle, speaking after Indiana fell behind 2-0 in the Eastern Conference semifinals with a 130-121 loss to New York on Wednesday, said the team had identified 29 questionable calls from Game 1. The source said the Pacers identified 49 such plays from Game 2 and submitted them overnight to the NBA office.”

Obviously, this is a pretty insane move from the Pacers and it led to a lot of reactions on social media as a result.

Clearly, the Pacers were not happy with the officiating. We’ll have to see if that changes in the next games.
