Ever since she began dating Kansas City Chiefs superstar tight end Travis Kelce, Taylor Swift has been embraced by the Kansas City community. And that apparently even includes a local police department.

On Friday night, the Spring Hill Kansas Police Department showed its support for Taylor Swift after she released her new albumย The Tortured Poets Department.

“We aren’t ‘listening to T. Swift at work’….. We are examining a musically interpreted anthology written by Dr. Taylor Alison Swift, seeking to glean profound wisdom to impart upon our audience, who, according to statistics, are also engaging with the same collection of melodic literature,” the Spring Hill Kansas Police Department wrote on Facebook.

The police department went on to give a breakdown and humorous analysis of all 31 songs Swift released this week, following up with a fun fact about how many times an officer could listen to Swift’s full album on a 12-hour shift.

“Thanks for coming to our TayTalk. (p.s. you can listen to the 122-minute #TTPD album 5.9 times during a 12-hour shift),” the post read.

It’s pretty clear that Swift has been embraced by the city since she began dating Kelce, and this is just another example of that.
