After making some progress in 2015, the Jacksonville Jaguars slumped to a three-win season in 2016 in a season which was supposed to be a breakout. Quarterback Blake Bortles and wide receiver Allen Robinson both had breakout 2015’s followed by a lackluster 2016. You’d think the two are trying to reconnect and get on the same page for the upcoming season, but at Jaguars camp the two aren’t getting along.

In a short clip via PewterReport.com, Robinson is seen trying to catch a deep throw by Bortles. In the video, Bortles overthrows Robinson by a wide margin, leaving the latter to knock a person over on the sidelines. After collecting himself, you can hear Robinson say “Fucking keep that shit in bounds, bro!”

Now, it’s somewhat unfair to say Robinson doesn’t like Bortles or is unhappy with his play since it’s just one line after an overthrown pass, but it’s an interesting unintentional soundbite. The cursing directed towards Bortles in direct. Robinson wants clean balls thrown to him, not huge overthrows that leave him vulnerable. It’s a clear and concise message.

If Bortles throws his next pass inbounds, then Robinson will have no issue with him. It’s tough love. The duo is way too talented to be missing each other on touchdown passes.
