Blake Fox deserves a Nobel Peace Prize for his spectacular pickoff move last weekend. Despite allowing three runs in 7 1/3 innings on Saturday against Louisiana-Lafayette, the senior pitcher at Rice took the loss.
However, during the 4-2 defeat, Fox did something positively amazing (via Peabody Baseball):

We have no idea if he planning the pickoff move or just saw the baserunner straying off first base when he was taking a breather between pitches. It’s also unclear if he borrowed the move from another pitcher.
