The U.S. Open was underway on Thursday when Tiger Woods found himself in the rough on the eighth hole.
After sizing up his rather awkwardly placed shot, Woods took a swing and, upon following through, promptly let go of his club and watched it sail yards upon yards behind him.
Amazingly, Woods actually recorded a par on the hole which makes it one of Woods’ better showings of the U.S. Open so far. Tiger bogeyed four of his first eight holes in Round 1.
