With a home run in the first inning of the Marlins’ Thursday game against the Mets, Giancarlo Stanton became the team’s all-time home run leader.

The previous mark (held by Dan Uggla) had been 154 home runs.

While that may not seem like a lot, Giancarlo is only entering the sixth season of his career and we probably haven’t even seen his prime yet. Considering that Stanton signed a 13-year contract with the team last year, future Marlins will likely have to do a lot to catch him as well.
