Under Armour is collaborating with both DC and Marvel in order to bring some pretty cool superhero-inspired graphics to its footwear.
Called the “Alter Ego” collection, the superhero kicks only come in cleat form for now but Under Armour couldn’t have picked four better comic book characters to represent its partnerships with Marvel and DC.
On the Marvel end, there’s the Spider-Man cleat.
On the DC end, one can choose between a Batman cleat, a Superman cleat and a Joker cleat.
Sure, there have been sneakers that have been nicknamed “Spider-Man” and “Joker” but they certainly don’t come nearly as close to accurately representing everyone’s favorite heroes and villains as these cleats do. Hopefully, Under Armour will work these collaborations into something that is a little more friendly for off-the-field wear.
