This probably isn’t how the Maple Leafs envisioned starting their third period – on the power play, nonetheless – against the Arizona Coyotes on Thursday night, but that’s just the way the cookie seems to be crumbling in Leafs Land these days. That’s Oliver Ekman-Larsson receiving the puck off the period’s opening faceoff and floating it down the ice and past Leafs goalie Jonathan Bernier for the game-tying goal just five seconds into the third.
