Sunday couldn’t have gone much better for Steve Smith. Facing his old team, the Carolina Panthers, who released him over the offseason, Smith exploded for 139 yards and two touchdowns. And of course, Smith was fired up during the game.
Smith’s words sound ready-made for professional wrestling but, then again, that’s why Steve Smith is the best (unless you piss him off, then he’s a nightmare).
I’m not sure what’s better –
A) “Take your ass back to Carolina. Make sure you mow my lawn while you’re out there. Keep it clean for me.”
or
B) “An old man playing a young man’s game? Some of y’all gonna have to ice up.”
