Carolina Panthers safety Thomas DeCoud graduated from Cal in 2008 before being drafted by the Falcons in the third round of the NFL Draft. What you see above is his senior portrait. It is amazing.
I don’t know why it has taken me so long to see this masterpiece, but it’s about damn time. Makes me wonder if NFL teams saw this photo and dropped DeCoud down on their draft boards because they thought he might be a “distraction.”
Either way, it’s pretty apparent the safety has decent sense of humor; you also might remember him as the guy who played the Meow game on SportsCenter a few years ago.
