Yasiel Puig has recorded his share of baffling highlight reel plays in just over one full big league season and his most recent escapade reminded everyone he is not your average ballplayer.
After Hanley Ramirez chops a grounder to third, prompting a double play attempt from the Cubbies, Puig dashes from second base in an attempt to score a meaningless run. The subsequent display of body control is almost hilarious as Chicago catch Welington Castillo helplessly stretches for a tag.
