Gritta Goetz operates an animal sanctuary out of Lanzenhain, Germany. According to Gawker, she has rescued over two dozen dogs, eight of whom need the assistance of carts to get around. She seems like she’s an amazing person, as judged by the video above.

While all eight aren’t shown here, you’d have to be a soulless monster to not be moved by the sight of five paralyzed dogs getting to fulfill man’s best friend’s dream of chasing a stick to their heart’s content.

One of the dogs, Rina, was paralyzed by her former owners in Bulgaria. They would use her for target practice and 20 projectiles had to be removed from her body. However, two projectiles were lodged in her her spine which caused permanent paralysis.

As Goetz chronicles here, Rina can move around again thanks to her wheelcart.

Getting teary eyed over here.
