Finally! I’ve been telling my friends for years now that my skills in Madden would have a chance at translating over to the NFL. Minnesota Vikings rookie quarterback and former Louisiville star Teddy Bridgewater has confirmed my suspicions.

Apparently Bridgewater has been supplementing his normal training by taking “virtual reps” on Madden. He’s able to do this because the great game of Madden allows users to create a playbook. Bridgewater has imported his team’s playbook into the game.

I have three thoughts on this matter.

    1. This is awesome.
    2. The Bears defense needs to figure out how to hack his Xbox ASAP.
    3. I’m good at Madden, can I have an NFL tryout?  Or can I at least help train Bridgewater? That’s how this is supposed to work, right?
