Look, we all know the Cleveland Browns are bad, but not this bad. It was reported that a former high school player from New Mexico stopped by the Browns’ outdoor practice facility on Tuesday hoping to get a tryout with the Browns. The man was quickly escorted off the field.

Props to the dude for going all out to accomplish his dreams, but here’s what I’m wondering: Why the Browns? If you’re going to tryout for an NFL team, you’re picking the Browns? And if you’re picking a city to live in, you’re picking Cleveland? There’s no word on what position he was hoping to tryout for, but, anyways, here are the three best teams/positions to tryout for, if you’re feeling inclined to do so.

1) Backup quarterback

Optimal Team: Denver Broncos, New England Patriots, Oakland Raiders, Houston Texas

There are two schools of thought here:

1) You are content learning from a legend by riding the bench. If that’s the case then the team for you is Denver or New England.

2) If you actually want a shot at seeing the field, trying out for teams like Oakland and Houston give the best chance at that. But who actually wants to play? Defensive linemen are big and fast and scary.
