This Sunday featured one of the better catches you will see all season, and it was by a fan. Check out this White Sox fan snag Tyler Flowers’ bat after it had slipped out of his hands on a swing. If you look closely you will see a baby behind the woman, and there is a very high possibility that it would have ended badly had it not been for the woman’s quick reflexes and the bat initially bouncing off the dugout.
According to Cut Four: when Eileen Depesa was asked about her great catch she responded by saying “I was more concerned with protecting the baby seated behind me.” Well done.
