The future of gaming will not be getting the newest $500 console, but downloading games from the cloud. Sony’s PlayStation Now uses the power of the cloud to do everything a clunky console would do while taking up space in your living room and all you’ll need is a controller and a screen. The service also supports multiplayer gaming and you can save your game in the cloud. PlayStation Now will be available for the PS4 and PS3 in June, and then later 2014 it will arrive on the PlayStation Vita and Sony’s 2014 Bravia TV’s. The company then plans to have Playstation Now service available on TV’s and internet-connected devices. Prices have not been announced yet, but most believe it will be offered as a subscription and even let players rent games.
