Mark Cuban is one of the most notorious owners in sports, let alone in the NBA. Over the years, he hasn’t gotten along with NBA officials too well. From running on the court, to taunting them, to complaining about them at press conferences – he’s done it all.
And because of that, he’s donated quite a bit of money to the league. Our good friends at Bleacher Report state that since he’s been the owner of the team (since 2000) he’s contributed 10% of all NBA fines (equating to $1.8M).
However, it was worth it in 2011, when his Dallas Mavericks became NBA Champions when they beat the Miami Heat. They still stand as the only team to beat the Heat in a seven game series, since LeBron James and Chris Bosh joined Dwayne Wade in South Beach in the summer of 2010.
