One of the amazing things about Seinfeld (and there are a lot of amazing things about Seinfeld) is its staying power. Despite the fact that the show is around a couple decades old and has been off the air for a while now, it still is very much alive thanks to heavy syndication and brilliant humor.
One awesome Mets fan paid homage to the classic show at yesterday’s game at Citi Field by wearing a customized ‘Art Vandelay’ jersey. If you’re behind on your Seinfeld knowledge, Vandelay is a made-up name used by George Costanza on several occasions throughout the duration of the series.
If that jersey wasn’t so damn awesome I’d probably find time to criticize the safari hat and the use of binoculars when your seats are right next to the dugout.
