Wrigley Field is known for having Chicago Cubs fans getting extremely drunk during their usually futile seasons. During Sunday’s game against the New York Mets a once happy Cubs couple had alcohol ruin their day. In the fifth inning Cubs pitcher Travis Wood smacked a home run to left field and headed straight towards a woman who wasn’t paying attention. Her hero husband tried to protect his wife from the ball, but spilled his beer on her on accident. So the wife proceeded to reward her hero by pouring her beer on his head. Considering stadium beer prices, this was a costly way to celebrate a Cubs home run.
