There’s an existentialist theory of indie rock that goes something like this: the best indie rock bands are the ones with the least number of fans. Thus, the best indie rock band doesn’t actually exist, because a band that doesn’t exist has the least number of fans — zero.
But what about non-existent bands that do have fans? It’s an equally absurd concept, but it’s the basis for the latest “Lie Witness News” feature from Jimmy Kimmel Live. The late night host sent a camera crew out to Coachella recently to ask attendees their thoughts on non-existent bands, and the results are about what you’d expect.
Also, there is a 100% chance somebody has already snapped up the name Get The F*ck Out Of My Pool.
