Cavaliers Reportedly To Hire Mike Brown as Coach

mikeThe Akron Beacon Journal is reporting that the Cleveland Cavaliers are going to hire Mike Brown as their next head coach.

The Cavaliers and Mike Brown have reached a handshake agreement on Brown returning as the team’s head coach, a league source has told the Akron Beacon Journal.

An official announcement is expected Wednesday.

All signs point towards a five-year deal which will be worth $20 million-plus, sources tell Y! Sports.

Mike Brown coached the Cleveland Cavaliers for 5 seasons from 2005-2010 and was fired by the Cavaliers in 2010.  His most recent stint was with the Lakers where he lasted only 71 games before being replaced by Mike D’Antoni.
