The most heart-warming story of the week comes from Sports Illustrated’s Sportsman of the Year ceremony, where brothers Conner and Cayden Long were honored as SportsKids of the Year for their inspirational bond:

Cayden, suffers from cerebral palsy, but Conner doesn’t let that stop him from playing sports with his brother. The two compete in triathlons together, with Conner towing Cayden behind in a raft during the swimming leg, towing him behind his bike during the cycling portion, and pushing him during the run. Triathlons have been a great way for the brothers to come together and have made them an inspiration to everyone that hears their story.

Conner and Cayden’s story quickly became the talk of the room, and every A-lister in attendance wanted to meet them, including LeBron James (SI’s Sportsman of the Year), Duke head coach Mike Krzyzewski, and power couple Jay-Z and Beyonce. James made a power move of his own, telling the boys to get ready for the private plane that will take them down to Miami and meet the rest of the Heat players.
