Ricky Williams is among the best running backs in football history, despite his NFL career being cut short due to suspensions. The former Miami Dolphins running back owns a Heisman Trophy, an NFL rushing title, and numerous other accolades. Yet still, the 41-year-old isn’t afraid to admit when someone is better than him.

Speaking with TMZ, Williams offered complimentary remarks towards Los Angeles Rams running back Todd Gurley. Williams called him “better” and “better than I was.”

Williams is right, Gurley is better than him. With BetOnline you could be betting on his teams each week to be making money off his talents as well. The 24-year-old is a beast both as a back and receiving the football. He had more than 19 touchdowns and 2000 combined yards last year on his way to earning AP NFL Offensive Player of the Year. In 2018, Gurley’s outpacing the production with more than 800 total receiving and rushing yards and 11 touchdowns in six games. He’s a beast.

There’s nothing wrong with admitting Gurley is “better” since it’s statistically true. Gurley is producing touchdowns and yards at a rate that’s ridiculous, especially by today’s NFL standards. He’s got a legit chance to top 25 total touchdowns – a feat accomplished only five times in NFL history. So yeah, as Williams alluded too, he’s special.
