Miles Bridges showed off his serious hops on Tuesday against the Atlanta Hawks, throwing down a thunderous dunk with no regard for human life.

The 20-year-old Charlotte Hornets rookie has had one of the best starts among a crowded group of talented rookies as his three-point range and athleticism have made him a regular part of Charlotte’s rotation.  In nine games (not including tonight) he’s averaged eight points in just 19.4 minutes, shooting 58 percent on the floor and 39 percent from three. He’s shown serious potential despite limited minutes. You’ve got to think coach James Borrego will use Bridges more the more he does stuff like this.

If the dunk contest needs some fresh blood to spice up the competition, give Bridges a call. His dunk game is elite, even as a rookie.
