Another notable wide receiver thinks Eli Manning should take a seat, and this time, it’s a former teammate.

After catching up with Terrell Owens earlier this week, TMZ cameras caught up with Victor Cruz. Much like Owens, Cruz – who won a Super Bowl with Manning back in 2012 – thinks the Giants need to try something different at the quarterback position.

“Maybe, yes at the moment,” Cruz said … “just to see what I got in my future. Just to see what’s going on.”

Cruz told TMZ that while it would be weird to see Manning in a different jersey, that he thinks he could find a job elsewhere.

“It would be weird to see him in another jersey,” Cruz told us … “but I think he’ll find a job somewhere for sure.”

His words aren’t as harsh as Owens, but, Cruz knows Eli looks finished – at least in New York. The Giants are a dreadful 1-7 on the season and gain no advantage by sticking with Manning over literally anyone else. It’s time to put a bow on the Eli era and send him off thankful he won two Super Bowls for the team.

I’m sure it’s tough for Cruz to admit Manning should be bench, but he’s just being honest. You’ve got to respect that.
