Baker Mayfield called out Texas defensive tackle Keondre Coburn last year when the four-star recruit chose the Longhorns over the Sooners. Now, Coburn is getting the last laugh.

On Saturday, the Longhorns beat the previously undefeated Sooners 48-45 in a shootout decided by a final field goal. Mayfield, who was the QB for the Sooners last season, on top of calling out in February, tweeted #TexasSucks on gameday.

Mayfield called out Coburn for being “naive” after he declared the Longhorns would beat the Sooners before the season started. The Sooners entered the season and game as the better-ranked team, so the statement clearly pissed off Mayfield.

Also not helping matters, Mayfield deleted the tweet.

Coburn made sure to tag Mayfield after the win and let him know he fulfilled his promise.

That’s an epic clap back on the Cleveland Browns QB.

The Longhorns were up 45-24 at the half, and it seemed like Coburn would be hearing it from Mayfield. Thankfully for him, Texas won the game, and the freshman got the better of the NFL star. You don’t see that too often.

Let’s see if Mayfield responds.
