PITTSBURGH, PA – SEPTEMBER 03: Le’Veon Bell #26 of the Pittsburgh Steelers watches the game from the sideline in the first quarter against the Carolina Panthers during the preseason game at Heinz Field on September 3, 2015 in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. (Photo by Jared Wickerham/Getty Images)

It appears that Le’Veon Bell has been watching the World Wide Leader during his downtime.

Bell has held out for most of the 2017 preseason and has recently signed a franchise tender with the Pittsburgh Steelers. It ensures that he’ll play week one against the Cleveland Browns. Before he heads back out on to the field, he took some time to respond to noted blowhard, Stephen A. Smith.

Max Kellerman and Smith did their normal dance taking a side then talking about it ad nauseam. Bell didn’t like one comment made by Smith stating that Bell could be “the ideal decoy.”

Since this is the year 2017, Bell called him out on Twitter.

Smith, never one to back down from an argument responded shortly after via Twitter.

He didn’t just stop there either. He also responded on First Take as well.

Bell decided to clap back and say what most people have known about Smith for years.

You know it is time for a player to get back on to the field when they are picking fights with analysts on ESPN. I am just a guy blogging in my underwear and I should be the only person with the time and patience to watch First Take. Le’Veon shouldn’t subject himself to this. Luckily he won’t have to do that with the NFL regular season starting for him this Sunday.
