Embrace debate. It is a strategy that Fox Sports 1 (FS1) has taken to the nth degree. A lot of their original programming centers around that thought. Now it apparently extends off the show and onto Twitter as well.

On Undisputed, one of FS1’s prized properties, the stars Skip Bayless and Hall-of-Fame tight end Shannon Sharpe debate over daily topics.

This time their discussion was centered around current unrestricted free agent Colin Kaepernick.

Kaepernick has long been a polarizing topic. For the show to take a hard stance one way or another it was bound to cause some buzz.

One person who bought in hook, line, and sinker was Fox Sports Radio personality Clay Travis, who immediately went after the show on Twitter. He accused the two of “spouting left wing lies.”

Quickly, Sharpe took to Twitter to let Travis know that he doesn’t “f**k with him” and that he would like to keep his job.

While the feud feels like an attempt to draw up faux controversy, Travis didn’t back down in follow up tweets. Travis told Sharpe that he would get “dunked on” and that he would “quadruple the average IQ of the show.” This only made the exchange all the more bizarre.

Where does Undisputed begin and end?

Embracing debate sure feels healthy for all involved.
