Lleyton Hewitt’s singles career is over after losing to David Ferrer in the second round of the Australian Open on Thursday. The 34-year-old Australian was defeated 6-2, 6-4, 6-4 by Ferrer.

Hewitt, the youngest male tennis player to ever be ranked No. 1 in the world at 20 years old, is calling it quits after a stellar career that included two Grand Slam titles and 30 total titles.

“I left nothing in the locker room. My whole career I’ve given 100 percent. “I love coming out here and competing. I’ve been so fortunate to have that opportunity 20 years in a row.”

He held a fantastic exit press conference following the match and while he said a lot of great things most of them were lost on the viewers because his daughter is so freaking adorable.
