According to a report by WEWS-TV, Cleveland Browns quarterback Johnny Manziel was pulled over by police earlier this week after Manziel got into an argument with his girlfriend Colleen Crowley.

Authorities were called after Manziel reportedly passed a shoulder at a high speed.

TMZ Sports reports that Crowley told the cops that the couple had been drinking in downtown Cleveland. They fought while Manziel was driving on the road. The WEWS-TV report indicates that “Crowley told police Manziel pushed her into a window” and that “Crowley attempted to exit the vehicle while they were on the road.”

No charges were filed because the police “did not believe either Johnny or Colleen were intoxicated to the point where they should have been charged with a crime.”

Earlier this year, Manziel had voluntarily entered rehab for unspecified reasons.

Colleen Crowley addressed the situation on her Instagram.

Before things get blown out of proportion.

Browns GM Ray Farmer also issued a statement on behalf of the organization:

“We were aware of the situation,” Browns GM Ray Farmer said in a statement. “It is a matter that we take seriously and have expressed our concerns to Johnny directly. Those conversations will remain private and we will refrain from further comment at this time.”
