As if it didn’t have enough on it’s plate, Sony Pictures Entertainment announced 16 films on the studio’s slate through 2019, including Bad Boys 3 and 4 which means an apparently never-ending Bad Boys cinematic universe.

Sony stated that the additions compose a diverse mix of films, including established franchises — Bad Boys 3 and 4, Resident Evil, Underworld — new films with franchise potential — The Dark Tower, Uncharted, Patient Zero — adaptations — Jumanji, The Magnificent Seven, Barbie — and original source material — Passengers, Money Monster, The Shallows, Baby Driver, The Lamb.

The full list of films and their anticipated release dates are:

  1. Money Monster – 4/8/16
  2. The Shallows – 6/24/16
  3. Ghostbusters – 7/15/16
  4. Patient Zero – 9/2/16
  5. The Magnificent Seven – 9/23/16
  6. Underworld 5 – 10/21/16
  7. Passengers – 12/21/16
  8. Jumanji – 12/25/16
  9. The Dark Tower – 1/13/17
  10. Resident Evil 6 – 1/27/17
  11. Bad Boys 3 – 2/17/17
  12. Baby Driver – 3/17/17
  13. Barbie – 6/2/17
  14. Uncharted – 6/30/17
  15. The Lamb – 12/8/17
  16. Bad Boys 4 – 7/3/19

Out of 16 movies slated through 2019, there are five original movies. Real strong effort Sony.
