Jordan Spieth has been enjoying himself over the past week. The golf star didn’t just manage to earn his second major of the year on Sunday by winning the U.S. Open; he also received some free swag from Detroit Lions star Calvin Johnson.

Spieth reportedly received a signed jersey and a signed football inscribed with “To Jordan, Best of luck on Tour” from Megatron during the U.S. Open. According to the Lions official website, Johnson sent Spieth the mementos after Spieth name-checked Johnson in an ESPN article where many athletes were asked whether LeBron James should be considered the best athlete in the world.

“I would say yes, but I’d put into that same equation Calvin Johnson and Cam Newton. As an athlete, I feel like Calvin Johnson can do anything. Cam Newton’s hands are twice the size of mine; he’s a freak athlete. Or Bo Jackson still might be the best.”

So, if you want some free signed stuff from Calvin Johnson, try to mention him in any “Best Of” conversation and wait for the autographed goodies to come flowing in.
