Michigan-Mississippi State probably ranks in the Irrelevant category when discussing non-conference college football rivalries, but Bulldogs head coach Dan Mullen might be changing that very quickly. We’re still two-plus months away from the start of the 2015 season but with offseason workouts underway and training camp set to begin in six weeks, we can already feel things heating up, including Dan Mullen’s hate radar in Ann Arbor.

Mullen has only faced Michigan once, a 52-14 demolition of Brady Hoke’s team in the 2011 Gator Bowl, the teams’ only meeting all-time. The margin equaled the largest lopsided bowl loss in Wolverines history. The two teams are not scheduled to meet in the future but that didn’t stop Mullen from lofting a fiery ball of shade toward their non-rivals and new head coach Jim Harbaugh:

The Bulldogs coach was addressing the highly controversial satellite recruiting camps that have become a hot topic of discussion this offseason. They consist of coaches rolling into different states to hold camps in order to get first-hand look at prospects. SEC coaches have been highly critical of the practice and you can either sign Mullen up as one of them or someone that just enjoys a little feistiness.
