When it rains, it pours. And the Hawks are caught in the middle of a monsoon right now.

With just under two minutes remaining in the second quarter, Timofey Mozgov screened for Kyrie Irving, leaving Al Horford no choice but no leave Mozgov to help on Irving. That left Millsap to rotate onto Mozgov, but he was too late. By the time he came over to help and block the shot, Mozgov was already mid-dunk, about to put Millsap in his poster.

The two-handed crush over Millsap stretched the lead to 20. But more than that, it seemed to crush any remaining hope the Hawks had left. And if these Eastern Conference Finals taught us anything, it’s to abandon all hope when facing the Cavaliers.
