The good news is that if Madden is anywhere close to being predictive, we’re all in store for a close and exciting Super Bowl this year (which would be a welcomed sight compared to last year’s snooze-fest).

What more could anyone ask for in a Patriots-Seahawks Super Bowl than a Rob Gronkowski one-handed touchdown grab, an Earl Thomas pick six, a Beast Mode rushing touchdown and a game-winning drive to end the game? All that is missing from this Madden Super Bowl simulation is about fifty references to deflated footballs.

According to Nick Schwartz of For the Win, Madden has been fairly reliable as a predictor in Super Bowls, having correctly predicted the eventual winner in eight of the past 11 Super Bowls (insert sample size objections here).

However, if you’re a Seahawks fan, there may not be that many reasons to worry over a Madden game. This is what Madden predicted for last year’s Super Bowl.
