J.R. SmithSpring cleaning has come early — really, really, early — for the New York Knicks and Cleveland Cavaliers, as the two teams are reportedly near an agreement that will unload some, uh, unwanted players from both of their rosters. According to Yahoo’s Adrian Wojnarowski, the highlights of the deal involve sending J.R. Smith and Iman Shumpert to Cleveland, while Cleveland would jettison Dion Waiters to a third team (which is being reported as the Oklahoma City Thunder). The Thunder may or may not be sending restricted free agent-to-be Reggie Jackson to New York.
